teaching:
Music Technolology Teacher, Crescendo Detroit (2022-2025)
Crescendo Detroit neighborhood program visited the
University of Michigan weekly for music-related programming. I designed lessons around composition and recording techniques. Middle and high
school students created
original compositions using Logic Pro X’s step sequencer, loops, and midi
instruments. Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Facilitated workshops with high school students on studio music production.
Students used Logic Pro X and Final Cut Pro to create audio-visual compositions. Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Teachning Assitant, Girls in Music and Technology
Facilitated workshops with high school students on studio music production
principles such as signal flow, miking techniques, and the basics of mixing using
analog outboard gear. Helped students design both fixed-media and interactive
final performances with Max MSP, Makey Makey, Ableton Push, and modular
synthesizers. Ann Arbor, Michigan.
research:
Curriculum Design and Implementation, Music for the Masses (2023)
Designed 20-minute lessons for students from 2nd grade through high school to
introduce young students to topics in diversity in music technology. Students learn
about the roles of electronic musicians and sound engineers through a diverse set
of artists. Young students are introduced to synthesis through Ableton's synth
playground. Work published by the Audio Engineering Society in 2025.
Principle Investigator, “I Can Hear Better With My Hands” (2025)
Research study investigating whether tactile feedback from control surfaces
during the mixing process improves user satisfaction and yields preferred creative
outcomes. The study seeks to further explore the connection between tactile and
haptic feedback during the mixing process. Completed as a senior thesis project,
advised by Dr. Sile O’Modhrain.
Research Assistant, Dr. Sile O’Modhrain (2022-2025)
Managed citations, figures, and copyright permissions for Dr. O’Modhrain’s manuscript “A Dialogue of the Senses: Designing Interaction with the Body in Mind” to prepare it for review by MIT Press
